Dalhousie Student Union General Elections 2009

Vote Now for your DSU Executive and some council members.

Online polling is open:

• Advance polling, March 13 from noon to midnight
• March 17 9am to March 19 6pm.

This is the online polling place for the DSU General Elections.

Candidate profiles, video bios, and pictures are on dsuelections.ca.

Voting for executive positions will be preferential. In cases where there are only two candidates, ranking only one candidate has the same effect as ranking two. Voting for the referendum questions will be by simple majority. The Senate Representatives are yes/no. For the Board of Governors Representative, each voter will be able to choose up to two candidates. The two candidates with the highest vote tallies will be declared the winners. Instructions

1. Ensure that your browser is allowing cookies - they are needed to log in.
2. Ensure that you know the information you need to login: Full name, Student ID Number, and Birthdate.
3. Log in. You have 60 minutes from the time you log in to cast your ballot. After this, you will NOT be able to login again.
4. At any time - before, during, or after you fill out the ballot - you can view information about the candidates.
5. Make your selections on the online ballot. You may cast a vote for as many or as few of the positions as you like, and return as often as you wish during your 60 minute voting period.
6. Submit your ballot.
7. Log out once you have cast your vote.
